Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Innovative Leadership Strategies ("ILS," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our websites, client portals, learning platforms, coaching and advisory services, Career Services, software-enabled services, and related offerings.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with ILS, we may collect contact and account information; organization and professional information; purchase and transaction information; communications with us; course and platform activity; coaching or service-related information you choose to provide; resumes, cover letters, career history, skills, job-search information, and other career documents; and technical information such as device, browser, IP address, logs, and security events.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to provide and administer services; authenticate users; manage purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, and organization accounts; deliver courses, coaching, advisory, assessments, and Career Services; process and improve career documents when requested; communicate with you; provide support; maintain security; prevent misuse; understand service performance; comply with law; and improve ILS offerings.
3. Career and resume information
Career Services may require information contained in resumes, professional profiles, employment history, education, skills, job descriptions, cover letters, and related materials. We process this information to provide the features and professional services you request. Because career documents can contain sensitive personal details, we encourage you not to include information that is unnecessary for the service.
4. AI and automated technology
Certain ILS services may use artificial intelligence or automated technology to assist with analysis, drafting, optimization, matching, or other functions. Automated outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before use. ILS may change the technology providers used to deliver these capabilities while maintaining the applicable privacy and contractual protections.
5. Service providers
We may disclose information to service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, database and authentication services, payment processing, email and communications, analytics, scheduling, learning technology, career and resume technology, and security. These providers receive information as needed to perform their services and are subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
6. Organization-sponsored accounts
If an organization provides or sponsors your access to ILS, designated organization administrators may receive account, access, assignment, or activity information appropriate to administering that organization's service. We do not intend this provision to give organization administrators unrestricted access to private coaching content or personal career documents unless the service design, agreement, and applicable law permit that access.
7. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. ILS may receive transaction identifiers, status, amount, product, and limited billing information but does not necessarily receive or store complete payment-card details.
8. Cookies and analytics
Our websites and platforms may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, functionality, analytics, and performance. Optional analytics, including Google Analytics when enabled, is loaded only after the visitor accepts the analytics choice presented on the website. Where required, choices or consent mechanisms will be provided for nonessential technologies.
8A. SMS communications
When you separately opt in to receive SMS messages from ILS, we may use your mobile number for coaching, scorecard, appointment, account, or service notifications described in our SMS Terms. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
9. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and transaction records, meet contractual commitments, resolve disputes, protect security, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by information type and service.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
11. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or certain disclosures or uses of personal information. You may contact us to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.
12. Children's privacy
ILS services are intended for adults and professional or organizational users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through services intended for adults.
13. International processing
ILS and its service providers may process information in locations other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page, and additional notice will be provided when required by law.
