His background as both an attorney and MBA strengthens ILS with practical insight at the intersection of legal judgment, business strategy, and executive decision-making.
Ryan Lochan is Legal & Business Advisor at Innovative Leadership Strategies, bringing a combined legal, commercial, and entrepreneurial perspective to the ILS advisory team. His professional background includes business litigation and in-house counsel experience, with a client base that includes entrepreneurs and businesses navigating contracts, commercial relationships, disputes, and other consequential business matters.
His experience includes matters involving breach of contract, commercial lease negotiations, delinquent receivables, and business-owner bankruptcy proceedings. That combination of legal analysis and business context gives him a practical understanding of how contractual obligations, risk, operating decisions, and commercial strategy intersect for owners and executives.
Ryan holds a Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law, an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a bachelor's degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is an active member of the State Bar of California.
