Dr. Azad Sheikh brings more than three decades of medical and healthcare leadership experience to ILS, including prior physician-executive and regional medical leadership responsibilities. His perspective strengthens ILS work involving high-accountability decision-making, healthcare operations, organizational performance, risk, quality, and complex team environments.
Dr. Azad Sheikh is Medical Consultant & Advisor at Innovative Leadership Strategies, bringing more than three decades of experience in medicine, healthcare leadership, and physician-executive decision-making. His prior leadership experience includes service as a Chief Medical Officer and as a Regional Medical Director for children's services, along with earlier academic and clinical responsibilities in pediatrics and pediatric critical care.
Dr. Sheikh's background combines frontline medical judgment with organizational leadership in environments where quality, safety, risk, ethics, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination have direct consequences. His experience provides ILS with a valuable perspective on leading teams through complexity, balancing clinical and operational priorities, and improving organizational performance in highly accountable settings.
He holds an MBA from the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management and an MBBS from Karnatak University. His professional qualifications include board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care, together with Royal College credentials. At ILS, he contributes healthcare, medical, and leadership insight to executive advisory and organizational-development work.
